Low Voltage Operation – Almost
all the equipment runs on 30 Volts DC. All US manufactured
Pneumatic tube system requires a dedicated 110 Volt AC circuit
for every device. That is many circuits in an existing facility
or even a new facility. We only need one -110 Volt –20
amp circuit for every 10 pieces of equipment, that’s
an electrical savings of 9 circuits and the cost of electricians
to install.
Small Station Foot Print – Sumetzberger
stations are smaller in width than our competitors. This
saves valuable floor space in both new and existing facilities.
Our stations do not require to be built into a wall or enclosed
by a field built wall. They can be wall mounted, or free
standing.
Pass Through Technology – This
allows us to pipe stations from the bottom or the top or
we may pipe through a station on the way to the next station.
Carriers passing through stations are not seen by the users
nor can the carriers be removed from the system will passing
through a station. This allows us to reduce costs when installing
a system as we eliminate the need for extra diverters and
piping. This also reduces construction costs. Sumetzberger

Smart Carriers – Sumetzberger offers
a fully integrated carrier redistribution system. All carriers
are assigned to a station, and when a carrier is redistributed
the carrier returns to its assigned station. Other manufacturers
use a counting system to redistribute carriers.
Carrier Color Code Rings – Instead
of buying or stocking expensive colored carriers that are
to be used by different departments or special purpose.
Sumetzberger can supply optional color rings that designate
the carriers, which just slip on and are easily changed.
This saves the need of buying extra spare carriers of each
color. Five different colors available.
